SATURDAY 9:00-6:00 p.m.

Document Destruction Service
Commercial and retail establishments, units of government,
individuals and
schools can contact Goodwill and discuss
our fee based shredding service. Transportation can be arranged for the pickup
of documents to be shredded.
Call 812-235-1827 for more information. Shredding can be
viewed on the internet or in our office via CCTV.
Acceptable Material For Recycling:

Aluminum & steel cans
All steel, bimetal, and aluminum cans are acceptable.
Please rinse out all steel food cans.
Please flatten cans to conserve space.
Labels do NOT need to be removed.

Plastics #1 through #7
Rinse and remove all lids.
Acceptable items include milk and water jugs, soda bottles, soap bottles, etc.
NOT acceptable: Motor oil
bottles, anti-freeze bottles.

Corrugated boxes & paperboard
Remove any styrofoam or liners from boxes.
Flatten boxes
NOT acceptable: Waxed boxes,
milk/juice cartons, aseptic juice boxes.

Scrap metal
Washers, dryers, metal coil bedsprings, steel bed rails,
steel swing sets, steel fence, etc.
All bulk metal items, including steel, tin, aluminum, copper, brass.
Bring bulk metal in loose or in a box.

Mixed paper
Bag or box paper for easier handling.
Mixed paper consists of any type of clean paper generated by your household.

Newspapers
Bundle or bag newspapers for easier handling.
Papers must be kept dry.
Please do not mix magazines, cardboard, or other paper with the newspapers.

Magazine / catalogs
Bundle, box, or bag magazines for easier handling.
Papers must be kept dry.
Please do not mix other papers with the magazines.

Office paper
Bag or box office paper for easier handling.
Office paper is paper typically generated by offices, including: white paper,
colored paper, and computer paper.

Kraft bags / brown grocery bags
Use these bags to carry your other recyclable material in to the center, or you
can box or bag them.

Junk mail
Bag or box junk mail for easier handling.
Junk mail is paper typically received in the mail, including: envelopes, cards,
flyers, and other papers.

Recycling Tip: Place recyclables in a kraft bag or cardboard box when
dropping them off at the center. This will allow us to recycle the bag or box,
and it will make it easier for you to handle the material.
Our center
does not
accept glass.
